Athletic Career: graduated from the University of Central Florida, where he was drafted in 2005 by the Tampa Bay Rays organization. His high school playing career includes a First Team All-State selection, two First Team All-First Coast selections, and being named the 2001 Times Union Player Of The Year his senior season at The Bolles School. Cobb has just completed his fourth season as the Varsity Pitching Coach of The Bolles School baseball team.
Players Trained: With an outstanding ability to develop pitchers, Cobb has several current and former players that play or will go on to play collegiate baseball. In only four seasons, Cobb has sent players to Duke, Georgetown, the University of Central Florida, Charlestown Southern, University of North Florida, and Tallahassee Community College. In addition to these signings, Cobb's staffs have produced three pitchers that have been selected as FACA First-Team All-State players, two have been named First Team All-Americans, and one Times-Union-Player-Of-The-Year with a career record of 28-0.
