I just wanted you to know, I have been incorporating the hip and shoulder rotation
recommended by you in the below newsletter. It is really working for me this season.

My team won 4-2 yesterday. i threw 4 innings of two hit ball. struck out a bunch of guys. Below is an email from another lefty pitcher from
the team we played, and a long time buddy of mine, tommy ebert. he has been
a very successful pitcher at the MSBL tourney level. thought you'd enjoy knowing
your newsletters are helping your old HS pal this season!

    All the best,

  2. Coach Bill,

Just wanted to say thanks for all of your assistance with Adrian. He was in a travel tournament this weekend, and pitched a phenomonal game. Also, he dialed long distance at the plate for the first time, and cleared the hedge behind the fence by at least 30 feet. You should have seen his face as he jogged around the bases!

    Thanks again.

  3. Your attention to mechanical detail is terrific. I am mechanical engineer with much biomedical training (20 years ago), but have limited personal baseball experience.

I attached photos from Dom's last game warm-ups. He definitely does not have a consistent delivery. I noticed (A) he sometimes raises his leg already angled more towards the plate as you noted, (B) his stride is not always the same, and (C) his follow through is sometimes too upright - in my opinion.

  4. Bill - Your efforts have helped Dominic tremendously. Dom pitched his best outing in the extreme heat today. After 5 innings he had a shutout allowing 2 hits and only 1 BB. His form was terrific and it showed in his control. He went into the 6th inning and gave up a run on a few hits when he was relieved. I also think that his conditioning and core training allowed him to remain strong even through a 45 minute weather delay.

After the game on car he told me he felt just like "Bill Schopp said" that by the time he was in the 3rd and 4th inning he felt stronger that when he started.

    Thanks.
